There’s been that time in my older children’s lives that I sigh a huge release of relief when I see her carefully, lovingly, delicately turning the paper pages of a book.
Ahhhh. Finally. I can leave her unattended with any book and know she won’t rip out any pages, and I in turn won’t rip out any of my hair from her ripping out pages.
Thankfully, until those blessed days when our babies can handle “real” books, there are board books with big, slightly-less-destructible (but can still only stand up to so much gnawing and abuse) board books.
